CELEBRATE WHAT’S RIGHT WITH THE WORLD!
Vision
- Vision controls our perception; our perception becomes our reality.
- When your vision is clear, the passion and creativity will be there as well.
- Vision must have the passion and purpose.
What is our Intellectual Paradigm?
- Are we living in the paradigm like the law of the jungle, eat or be eaten, Win or lose, 2nd place is the first loser? Or everyone is the winner?
Dewitt Jones in the field – unfolding the “implicate order.” – Discovering what you don’t know that you don’t know
- Look for what is right with the situation, and where are the possibilities in the situation?
- What is right is always there, only when we are ‘Opened’ enough to see it, then we can find it.
- How strong is your belief in “the right thing is always there?” This belief will give you the passion and energy to pursue your dreams and it determines your success.
- When Dewitt Jones was out in the field in the mountain for a few days, he couldn’t find the shots he was looking for; he didn’t know what he was looking for either, but deep down inside him, he believed there must be something great out in that wide open field; It was precisely of that strong sense of belief, he went back and look for what was right with the situation, and where were the possibilities; finally he found it – The pulps, millions of them out there. It was there all along.
If you want to find great answer to things that you do, have different perspective of things
- It can change from ordinary perspective to extra ordinary perspective. Like the crack on the mountain slope; if you don’t go inside that ordinary crack and look outward, you will never believe such a significant frame exist. The extra ordinary perspective.
- If we want to achieve our desire outcome, always reflects when we failed. Only through reflection then we will see things in different perspective, and have a different mental model – Double loops learning.
Celebrate what is right allows us to find the energy to fix what is wrong
- Focus on what we have, not on what we don’t have – Stay onto the Creative tension loop.
Changes
- “I first saw an angel in the stone; I craft to set it free” – Michael Angelo.
- Do you believe that change is possibility! Learn to ride on the changes, use the power of the changes to achieve what we want.
- Learn to live in uncertainty and act with confident. Change is uncertainty.
- Be patient! Great frame will come if you wait long enough and believe in it.
“Being the best “IN” the world or being the best “FOR” the world?” The Marian Camber story.
- She said: “when I weave, I weave!” The sickness of her brother does not bother her; she has the ability to control her mind, let go of everything that was not relevant to what she was doing and stay focus on what she was doing. The only thing she worries when she weaves was “run out of thread.”
- “There is no use to go to anywhere to preach, unless your walking is your preaching.”
- She was who she was, with discipline, with grace, with total lack of Ego. She is not just the best in the world but the best FOR the world.
Find the balance?
- Learn to trust your values and your vision enough to step out of your own edge to find a new balance in life. Not the one of limitations, but the one of possibilities.
- The balance between what I do and who I am;
- Balance that allows us to keep the intensity and the focus, at same time not loses sight of those things that are important to our life, and to our being.
Henry Grey stories:
- Henry Grey, the Thrower, had his first clan reunion in 200 years. He didn’t expect the outcome to be like this when he was first started to be interviewed by Dewitt Jones.
- We never know where we’re going in life. Hold on to your vision with passion and purpose, and live your life to its fullest at the present time.
- Share with others generously and sincerely, regardless whether there is any return or not.
- Incredible thing can happen when we open up for possibilities.
Mentor
